List of Task Management Shortcuts & Their Functions

Shortcut Function
Ctrl + Shift + Esc Opens Task Manager directly to monitor and manage running applications, processes, and system performance.
Ctrl + Alt + Delete Opens the security options menu, where you can access Task Manager, Lock the PC, Sign Out, or Change Password.
Alt + Tab Switches between open applications. Hold Alt and press Tab repeatedly to cycle through active windows.
Win + Tab Opens Task View, which displays all open windows and virtual desktops for better multitasking.
Alt + F4 Closes the active window. If no window is selected, it opens the Shut Down menu.
Win + Ctrl + D Creates a new virtual desktop, useful for organizing multiple workspaces.
Win + Ctrl + Left/Right Arrow Switches between virtual desktops.
Win + Ctrl + F4 Closes the current virtual desktop without affecting running applications.
